Privacy Policy
How Rad-dex handles your data. We keep it minimal: your account, your study preferences, and your learning progress — and nothing about patients.
Last updated: June 2026
Who we are
Rad-dex (“Rad-dex,” “we,” “us”) is an educational radiology study tool operated by [OPERATING ENTITY]. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. Questions: hello@rad-dex.com.
Information we collect
- Account. Your email address, and — if you sign in with Google or Apple — the basic profile they share to authenticate you. You may optionally add a display name, role, training year, and target exam date.
- Study data. The sections you follow, your daily goal and study plan, the items you have seen, your spaced-repetition schedule, quiz answers, saved items, and any feedback you send us.
- Technical data. Basic, privacy-friendly usage and device information through our analytics provider, and security signals from our bot-protection provider.
We do not collect patient data or protected health information, and you must never enter any into Rad-dex.
How we use your data
We use your information to operate and personalize the service, schedule your reviews, send the daily digest if you opt in, keep the service secure and prevent abuse, diagnose and fix problems, improve Rad-dex, and respond to your messages.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in, and privacy-friendly analytics to understand aggregate usage. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not sell your data.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We rely on a small set of service providers (“subprocessors”) to run Rad-dex, each processing data on our behalf under their own terms:
- Supabase — database and authentication
- Vercel — hosting and analytics
- Resend — transactional email (sign-in links and digests)
- Cloudflare — bot protection
- Google / Apple — only if you choose their sign-in
We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users and the service.
Data retention
We keep your data while your account is active. You can export it at any time from Settings, and deleting your account removes your data from our active systems; routine backups age out on a rolling basis.
Your choices and rights
From Settings you can access and export your data, edit your profile, turn the digest on or off, and delete your account. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights — such as under the GDPR or CCPA — to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your data. Contact us at hello@rad-dex.com to exercise them.
Security
We protect data in transit with encryption and limit who can access it. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we work to keep your information safe.
International users
Rad-dex is operated from and hosted in the United States. By using it, you understand that your data is processed there.
Children
Rad-dex is intended for users 18 and older and is not directed to children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the “last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide notice in the app.
