Rad-dex is a daily, spaced-repetition study tool for radiology — board-style questions, classic signs, and fresh literature across every section, scheduled so the knowledge actually sticks.
Why it exists
Radiology is broad and never stops moving. Most study tools are either a firehose you abandon or a static question bank that goes stale. Rad-dex was built by a radiology fellow who wanted the opposite: one short, focused session a day that quietly covers the whole field and keeps up with the literature.
How it works
Each morning Rad-dex assembles a set across the sections you follow — questions, imaging signs, board pearls, differentials, anatomy, protocols, flashcards, and recent papers. You grade each item once; spaced repetition resurfaces it right before you would forget. Reviews come back most-fragile-first, and a Quick 10 session keeps busy days from breaking the habit. Your dashboard tracks coverage and accuracy, so you always know where you are thin.
How Rad-dex stays accurate
Anchored to authoritative sources. Every card is built and checked against the references radiologists trust: RadioGraphics, Radiology, AJR, ACR, StatPearls, and society guidelines, with the source cited on the card.
Rubric-graded and adversarially reviewed. A separate pass scores each card against a fixed rubric for accuracy, careful hedging, and the imaging discriminators that actually matter, correcting anything that drifts.
Continuously audited. The library is swept for duplicates, dead links, and outdated criteria, and re-verified as guidelines evolve.
Watched against the standards. The reporting systems and guidelines that define practice, from Lung-RADS and LI-RADS to the ACR contrast and MR safety manuals, are tracked for changes. When one moves, the affected cards are updated and the revision is logged.
Image-verified. Cards link to confirmed reference images and cases, not guesses.
